Hottest New Accessori for Spring....

Ropes, Tassels & Fanny Packs at Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2011

I adore DVF, the label and the person. Ms. Furstenberg is consistently at the top of her game and I don’t know a single person who doesn’t love her style. Plus she’s just such a classy lady.
Her latest collection did not disappoint. Fun, puzzle-like prints and lots of colour made for an eclectic show. Draped, tailored, loose, fitted — it was all here and blended beautifully.
I loathe fanny packs but I’m obsessed with the ones in this collection and with this patterned one in particular…
Tons of cute rompers as well.
Also spotted amongst the patterned madness: ropes as laces and tassel detailing.
Everyone needs a piece of DVF in their closet for next spring! I’m headed for the fanny pack…

Try These Lash Looks...Srping Is Comming!!!

Twiggy famously made a loaded-up lower lash line a statement look back in the '60s and it's something we started to see re-appearing at Spring '11 Fashion Week, particularly at  , if it's a look that you've been hoping to recreate, or if you'd just like to be able to apply mascara to your bottom lashes without getting it everywhere, Clinique has come up with the goods with its new Bottom Lash Mascara ($28). Available in Black and Black/Brown, the innovative brush is one of the smallest on the market, measuring in at just under 1cm. Cute! I was a bit skeptical about how well it would work but it did make it heaps easier to apply mascara to the lower lashes. I have dark eyelashes so wouldn't necessarily use it unless I was going for a dramatic smoky eye, but for those with little fair lashes, it's a great buy. The formula is long-wearing, lasting for up to 24 hours and is infused with jojoba oil to condition the lashes. What do you reckon? Are you interested in a separate lower lash line mascara? Or not really?A topsy-turvy Twiggy came out to play at Cynthia Rowley's show with models' top lashes left bare and their bottom lash line given a healthy dose of MAC Zoom Lash for a va va voom '60s look. A statement red lip completed the "Twiggy on Carnaby Street" makeup look. LOVE. The hair went back even further to decades past — with the 1920s being cited as a reference — yet it still had a furturistic spin thanks to some soft metallic hair streaks and two super-sheeny barrettes which helped to complement the deep-parted, sleek side chignon. Me likey. You too?
